To get "ac" you mulitiply the 1st term by the last term.(Hint: only the number)
"b" is the second term number.
When you get those two you have to find "a" and "c"
"ac" is what you get when you multiply "a" and "c" and "b" is what you get when you add "a" and "c".
So you have to find 2 numbers that will multiply and add up.
When you find "a" & "c" you replace the middle term
So it is 3x²+5x+3x+5
Then you group them based on if they have common factors.
So it is (3x²+3x)+ (5x+5)
Now take out greatest common factor(Hint: Always take out x of first group)
So it comes out to be 3x(x+1)+5(x+1)
Then you group them so that it is like this:
(3x+5)(x+1)
3x²+8x+5
